Meet the Founder & CEO
Hello All!
My name is Juanisha Elder and I am the proud owner of Events by Elder, LLC. My love for special events began at the tender age of ten, when I took it upon myself to plan my big sister’s baby shower. At my aunt’s house, with use of her beautiful backyard and foyer, I had created a fun-filled event for my sister, our family and friends. Overjoyed with the outcome of my sister’s baby shower, I started planning more events for family/ friends, high school students/faculty, and annual sorority events in college. It’s as if I was born to create memorable moments for others!
In 2013, I chose to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management, devoting myself to learn all aspects of the events industry through experience and education. I’ve had the pleasure of being a catering manager, private events manager, operations manager, and more all to perfect my craft. Following the most recent world-wide crisis I finally had the confidence to start my own business, thus the creation of Events by Elder.
I am constantly motivated to create events, because of the joy it brings others. No matter how large or small an event is, I treat every event delicately with love and care, so that I can truly bring your vision to life.
